Description

Delightful cookies combining ripe bananas, crunchy pecans, rich chocolate, and creamy caramel, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the mashed bananas and mix well.
  4. Sift together the flour and baking soda, then gradually add to the banana mixture.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  7. Make a thumbprint in the center of each cookie and fill it with caramel sauce.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

Use overly ripe bananas for best results. Consider lightly toasting the pecans and adding a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor.
