Description

A delightful fusion of ocean-fresh tuna, vibrant green onions, and aromatic spices crafted into crispy, savory patties, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can Canned Tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Egg
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the canned tuna with green onions, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and the egg. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into small, round patties.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sriracha, and lime juice for a spicy mayo.
  6. Serve the tuna cakes warm with the spicy mayo on the side.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, allow the mixture to rest for 10-15 minutes before forming patties. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.
