- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Dash of black pepper
- 2/3 cup pecans, finely chopped
Instructions
- Place cream cheese in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
- Add cheddar, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, parsley, garlic powder, oregano, and pepper.
- Mix well to combine all ingredients evenly.
- Use a spatula to scrape and shape into a rough ball.
- Lightly grease hands and form mixture into a round ball.
- Place chopped pecans on a plate and roll the cheese ball to coat all sides.
- Wrap in cling wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour to firm.
- Let it sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before serving.
- Serve with crackers, pretzels, or veggies.
