Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the shredded chicken and heat through.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the milk and bring back to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni and shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and creamy.
  7. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
