Crockpot Garlic Butter Beef Bites with Potatoes

Description

A comforting slow-cooked dish featuring tender beef cubes and buttery Yukon Gold potatoes, rich in flavor and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lb beef cubes (boneless chuck or round cuts)
  • 3–4 medium Yukon Gold or baby potatoes
  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, dried thyme, or rosemary

Instructions

  1. Pat the beef cubes dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the seasoned beef in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Melt the butter in a bowl and mix in the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
  4. Pour the butter and garlic sauce over the beef in the crockpot without stirring.
  5. Halve or quarter the Yukon Gold potatoes and layer them on top of the beef.
  6. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high for 2½ to 3 hours until the beef is tender.
  7. If desired, whisk a tablespoon of cornstarch into some liquid from the crockpot to thicken the sauce.
  8. Serve in bowls, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, sear beef cubes in a skillet before adding to the crockpot. Optional extras include mushrooms or carrots.
