- 1 box brownie mix, plus ingredients called for on the box
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 Tbsp. Baileys Irish Cream
- 2/3 cup powdered sugar
- 3 1/2 tsp. milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9-inch x 13-inch pan with parchment paper. Prepare the brownie mix according to the instructions on the box, then pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, typically 20 to 23 minutes. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
- Once cooled, cut football-shaped brownies out of the baked brownies, allowing the savory aroma to awaken your senses, and place them on a cooling rack set over a baking sheet.
- In a heatproof bowl, place the semisweet chocolate chips. Heat the heavy cream in a microwave until hot, about 40 seconds. Pour the heated cream over the chocolate chips, let it sit for 3 minutes, and then stir until creamy and lump-free. Add the Baileys Irish Cream and stir until smooth.
- Dip each brownie in the rich chocolate ganache, ensuring every nook is enveloped in that delectable mixture. Place them in the refrigerator to set for about 30 minutes.
- For the icing, combine the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl, stir until thoroughly blended. Transfer the icing into a piping bag or resealable plastic bag, cut a very small hole in the tip, and decorate each brownie with laces. Return the tray to the refrigerator to harden for 5 minutes more.
