- 16 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup fudge sauce
- 1 cup whipped cream or Cool Whip
- 1/2 cup peanuts, chopped
- 2 cups chocolate ice cream
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until evenly coated, then press into the bottom of a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- Pour the fudge sauce evenly over the Oreo crust and spread gently with a spatula.
- In another bowl, fold whipped cream into chocolate ice cream until smooth, then spread over the fudge layer.
- Sprinkle chopped peanuts over the ice cream layer.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 240 minutes or until firm.
- Once frozen, let sit for a few minutes, cut into squares, and serve.
Notes
For enhanced flavors, consider using chocolate fudge sauce and garnishing with extra whipped cream and whole Oreos.
