Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes (if using), and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted unsalted butter and the egg until well combined, adding fresh parsley if using.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms, adjusting with more flour if necessary.
- Form the dough into bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and slightly firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
- Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
